Summer Camping Conference

This year's Summer Camping conference takes place from July 24 to 25 at the North Carolina State University, Raleigh, North Carolina.

The Summer Camping Conference is open to all students in grades 6-12 within the region. The purpose of the conference is to expose pre-college students to math and science in a more interactive, engaging setting than what's generally done in school, engage students in team building exercises, provide guidance on HS and college preparation, and communicate the importance of continuing in higher education and the impact engineering has on recent world events. We will have numerous workshops run by current NSBE members, alumni and corporate representatives, design competitions, and activities to keep students entertained.

Summer Camping Conference (SCC) 2009 will be an exciting time for the pre-college (PCI) students to enjoy the many workshops, projects, and activities we have planned! Students will get a chance to meet other Region II PCI students, NSBE collegiate members and Alumni! We have planned a number of activities to promote college, academics, technology, and leadership to pre-college students.
