The Fall Regional Conference (FRC) provides a forum for discussion and information exchange between collegiate, pre-college, alumni, and corporate representatives in the areas of science, technology, engineering, and/or mathematics (STEM). Attendees will be infused with academic excellence and professional development through various technical, cultural, professional workshops, competitions, Career, Health & Graduate School Fairs, and a plethora of professional & social networking opportunities. The FRC is the premier conference experience for collegiate students in STEM majors as they are provided with an opportunity to showcase their research and further enhance their personal and professional development. The goal is to foster a strategic academic support network while providing access to scholarships, internships, and other career enhancement opportunities.

The Fall Regional Conference also features two sub-conferences: the Pre-College Initiative (PCI) Mini Conference and Professional Development Conference (PDC).

The PCI Mini-Conference provides comprehensive activities and workshops to assist students in grades K–12 discover firsthand how engineering and technology relate to the world around them and discover the excitement of academic excellence, leadership, technical development and teamwork.

The PDC provides resources for working professionals and graduate students who seek to fulfill development in the areas of leadership/project management, understanding of diversity & inclusion in the workplace, foundational tools for small business development, and professional licensure & certifications. This is the ultimate assembly of experienced and highly qualified professionals who seek to further expand their academic and professional acumen by engaging in conference activities and networking with like-minded professionals throughout the region.

  1. Go to www.NSBE.org.
  2. Login. Not a member? Feel free to Join NSBE.
  3. Once you logged in, select Register for an Event.
  4. Look for 2011 Region 3 Fall Conference and on the right-hand side, select Register for this meeting.
  5. Fill out any necessary information.
  6. Answer any remaining questions and pay.

NOTE: Make sure your credit card billing zip code is correct, otherwise it will not go through.

Parking and Transportation

Parking for hotel guests will be Complimentary and for meeting participants parking will be 8 dollars per day with guest to pay. Parking is limited and subject to availability. The maximum height clearance for vehicles into the parking garage is 6 ft. 5 inches. If your vans and/or buses exceed our parking availability, the City of Jackson will make street parking available at a fee. Buses and vans will require a meter permit (3 meters per bus/coach = $30.00 per bus /2 meters per van = $20.00 per van). Please contact the hotel directly if you will have buses or over-sized vans.
